If you can't say anything nice.......

Sorry for the long absence. I was in a grumpy mood the past few weeks and just really didn't have anything positive to say. I'm over it and ready to blog again (in my regular pattern of once or twice a month! LOL) Get ready for a ton of pics. I stopped blogging, not taking pictures!!

So what have we been up to?? Well, I have been knitting. I am attempting to finish a sweater for Eve's birthday. I am more than half way finished. The problem???

TINY NEEDLES!!!! So I am bored of doing row after row of boring stockinette on size 3 needles. I need to get motivated. I only have 2 more weeks!

I am also having fun with little projects. Baby hats are so fun and only take a couple of hours. I think they are the CUTEST things EVER!!

Or on the opposite end of the spectrum, bulky yarn, huge needles, and 3 hours were all it took to teach a friend of mine to knit last week. CUTE HAT!

My other completed project is another purse. This time I did a flat handle. I am really pleased with the result. What do you think??

Other than knitting we have recently torn the house apart and completely rearranged the house. We got a new bed, and the girls now have a play room. The house is just now recovering, but I am really liking the new set up. Hopefully it will help to keep things neat and tidy (hehehe yeah right.......I didn't hire a maid, I just shoved all the toys in the VERY back of the house!!) We have also been enjoying the snow. Jeremy and the girls made a sweet little snowman. They had so much fun! With spring coming it might be the only one we get to do this year.

Alright, I am off to bed. I will try to update again sooner. I am sure you will see Eve's birthday, maybe something sooner!

Wow, it all looks great! I especially love the purse. Hang in there with the size 3 needles. You can do it!

Oh nic, I love your knitting projects!! That little blue hat with the bunny is so dang cute. I almost wish I had another baby so you could make me one! And look at little Eve! She's so precious in her little beanie...and the snowman...I just love your pictures. I'm super jealous btw. You've got snow on the ground, and it's been in the mid 80's here. yuck.
